All clear!

Nothing is ever that definitive, of course. But no new tumors. The skin on the kidney that had the recent surgery is "thick" ... but that, hopefully, is just scarring. They'll keep an eye on it.

Clinic chemo Thursday. (As opposed to In-hospital Chemo.) I love taking cupcakes -- put three dozen cupcakes in the family room and FOOSH they disappear. July 3rd, so red velvet, cream cheese frosting and blue icing stars.

Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts, Friends.

That is Great!

I was discussing your blog with my wife at the dinner table and my 6 year old daughter Cameron asked to see Little Warrior. I went to your latest vid-log and showed her.

Cameron laughed at her funny faces as did my 3 year old, Charlie.

I am now a "meanie" however because they had to go to bed and couldn't see the rest of the videos.

When I was clicking back to your site Cameron got excited "Little Warrior's got the seven principals! Can I email her?"

I'm sure you get that a lot. Congratulations on the good news!

We are Catholic. I think I am because I love to light candles. I was told by an old priest that the reason you light candles is because your prayers continue to go to heaven after you leave the church, lest God or your chosen saint forget. The candle helps with senior moments.

I must confess, as we Catholics like to do, that I often figure part of my monetary gift to the church is part of the Candle Tax. So I generally don't pay. I have not been able to get to my parish for a while so recently I have been doing a fair amount of Candle lighting in the main catheral. I have been paying for the candles. I will keep doing so.

My daughter is a 4th of July baby. I have done lots of things but never the Red Velvelt.... how silly. Enjoy your holidays.
