(Joking about a marriage between Bateman and Cross)
Cross: It's Unitarian.Keith, darling ... we forgive you. Come back home. You may find us a little changed. Occasionally we'll even say 'God.' And not just when we're cursing!
Olbermann: Oh, good, I was raised in that faith. So there's just a lot of political talk, there's no religion ... okay, that's going to get me in a lot of trouble with my ancestors ..."

You can forgive him. I'm still cheesed off about that comment about needing a Superdelegate to take Hillary into a room and "only he comes out."
And the debate where he and Chris Matthews talked about Michelle and Hillary's clothing in such detail that eventually Andrea Mitchell had to remind them that they were in fact talking about two lawyers who had gone to Harvard and Yale.
I'd say the unchurched can have him.

From the sound of it Keith Olbermann outed himself as an ex-Unitarian. . .
Yeah...well CC, when aren't you cheesed off? Or at least insulting?
He was a UU? And he's to the left enough to see through the DLC poster girl? I'm ready to make him a UU minister!
I don't forgive him either. Not that he cares, but I don't want him.
I'm often insulting, but I pick my targets carefully.
And I don't think I picked this one unjustly.
That he criticized her wasn't the point. Lots of poeple did make very reasonable criticisms of her. I agreed with some of them.
With Olbermann, I specifically object to the two statements I cited here because analyzing a women's clothing instead of her ideas is lame, and the whole "and only he comes out" is pretty fucking creepy.

Oh I don't know about that CC. I think that you might want to be a bit more careful about who you choose to insult. . .
Keith Olbermann's a grownup. I'm sure he can take people disagreeing with him, even if his supporters can't.
Besides, he picked HIS target well. I'm pretty sure if he'd said that a white superdelegate should take Obama in a room and only the superdelegate comes out, Olberman wouldn't have a job anymore.
