I love this word web warm-up for solo or group work. Each person writes the topic (worship) in the center of a piece of paper and draws a circle around it. Draw lines radiating out from the circle and write words that come to mind, connecting groups of related words. Instructions can be something like, "write what makes worship meaningful to you." By limiting yourself to single words or short phrases and drawing a word web, you're allowing the right brain to make a map of thoughts and ideas. Doing this can open up quiet people and make talkative people a little more introspective. Good luck!
I live in a lot of worlds. The suburbs. A Unitarian Universalist Church. Ministry. Mommy group. Missional Theology. Childhood cancer land. I write about all of it here.
