This relates to a prior post - my husband had a kidney removed in 1942 when he was 16. His scar goes from near belly button around to almost the middle of his back. There was skin tearing during his recovery and the scar is really scary looking. When we used to go to the shore sometimes children would point at him and wonder what it was. He always told them it was from a shark bite!
Rejoicing!
